RipNAS Statement challenges the conception that NAS devices have to be hidden away, both for acoustic and aesthetic reasons, Statement is visually stunning, whilst acoustically designed. Statement combines Audio CD ripping, Network Attached Storage and Media Streaming in one Hi-Fi standard 43cm width box.

Statement is available in two models: Statement SSD (Solid State Drives no moving parts), or Statement HDD (more storage capacity).

Cutting Edge Design

Noise pollution from NAS devices are a real problem when paired with high-end audio players, traditional NAS devices have the potential to be heard many rooms away due to designs with fans and many HDDs, if the vibrations from five HDDs are not heard, the ear-splitting fan can be.

Statement SSD is a state-of-the-art NAS, the worlds first Solid State Drive Ripping NAS, with no moving parts or background noise to spoil ones listening pleasure, Statement SSD can be placed pride of place with the streaming player and amplifier.

Statement HDD, silences the internal drives (both HDD and CD transport) by internally enveloping the drives in a sound absorbing cocoon, with passive cooling to the outside case.

CD Ripping Simplified

Easier than 1 2 3, Statement manages CD Ripping in just 1 step: Insert Audio CD, metadata is retrieved from four metadata providers (AMG, GD3, MusicBrainz, freedb) with quality album art, spelling mistakes are automatically corrected using PerfectMeta™. CD is ripped using the respected dBpoweramp ripping engine to a lossless format of choice, audio files are automatically shared for streaming. Around 3-4 minutes later the CD is ejected, ready for the next disc. Ripped files are checked for errors against AccurateRip, re-ripping the track if errors are detected and potentially recovering the error (scratches, etc), in-accurate tracks are separated to a different folder.
